The final instalment of the much-awaited trilogy 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' is finally here. It is a bittersweet feeling for the MCU's fans as they have to save goodbye to James Gunn's superheroes but the movie has also given a closure to the 'Guardians'. 'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3' is also the much-needed revival Marvel needed because of the criticism faced by their recent films.
The Story:
Peter Quill is still dealing with the loss of Gamora and uses drinking to cope with the situation. Meanwhile, a deadly attack leaves Rocket on the verge of death. Peter and his team have to save Rocket and the universe but this dangerous mission can cost their lives. The movie will also explore the origin of Rocket and where he came from.
Review:
'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3' starts on a heartwarming yet sad note as Peter Quill aka Star-Lord is grieving the loss of Gamora, whereas, you will see the Guardians, including Drax, Mantis, Groot, Rocket, Kraglin, taking care of each other as a family. All the characters in the Guardians have a tragic past, dealing with the death and loss of their loved ones. But here the Guardians have found a new family and is beautiful to see these characters building their home on Knowhere.
The movie will make you laugh with its goofiness and leaves you in tears with some heartbreaking scenes at the same time. There is a perfect balance of emotions in the film and it is not forced upon the audience. The punchlines, dialogue exchanges and the physical comedy between the actors is near perfect and will genuinely make you chuckle.
Whereas, the origin story of Rocket shows some heartwrenching moments which can leave tears and the perfect voice-overs and special effects makes the scenes even more believable and heartbreaking. Action sequences are well-choreographed and are an absolute delight to watch. There are some scenes where you are left in awe to see how well-executed the action scenes are.
The past few Marvel movies have lacked the thrill and pacing amid its grandeur and huge scale. However, Marvel redeems itself with 'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.3' as it gives your favourite characters growth and much-needed closure and makes you root for them even more.
The actors in the Marvel movies often don't get a chance to show their acting chops as they are overshadowed by other factors. However, every actor shines in this film and the chemistry between them makes the scenes even more entertaining. Chukwudi Iwuji as the High Evolutionary has given one of the finest performances in the film.
The biggest criticism faced by the recent Marvel movies was their average special effects but 'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3' has not compromised in this department at all. The different words shown in the film are an absolute delight to watch which was lacking in some of the recent Marvel films.

Final Thoughts:
'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3' is the perfect send-off to the trilogy. It will make you laugh and cry at the same time. The Guardians are seen as healing, growing and finding closure. Even though this might be the last time audience will see the Guardians together, their legacy will always live in the hearts of MCU fans.
