Strict Rules BTS Has To Follow: Though BTS members V, Jungkook, Jimin, Jhope, Suga and RM are currently serving their mandatory military services, Jin was discharged in June, 2024. Despite their hiatus due to the military, the Kpop idols have been ruling various charts across the globe. Behind BTS' swift ascent to global superstardom lies a years-long journey of cultivating a devoted fan base and shattering music industry benchmarks. Yet, despite their phenomenal achievements, the Kpop sensation remains bound by a set of stringent guidelines imposed by their management company, Big Hit Entertainment.

5 Strict Rules BTS Members Have To Follow As A Part Of BIGHIT

No Dating Policy

There has not been any confirmation about the dating policy for BTS by Big Hit Entertainment, but if the rumours are to be believed, it is similar to JYP Entertainment's strict rules. Dating rumours surround Kpop groups, with some BTS members speculated to be dating other Kpop idols. However, keeping relationships private is understandable, given fan backlash and label repercussions, like Hyuna and E-Dawn's suspension from Cube Entertainment.

No Scandal Policy

Big Hit Entertainment is rumoured to have a strict 'no scandal' policy, prohibiting artists from engaging in activities that could tarnish their image, including drinking, drugs, romance, or expressing political views, a rule similarly enforced by other major Kpop labels like SM, YG, and JYP. Recently, BTS member Suga made headlines for DUI scandal. However, according to reports, the Kpop idol had to pay a hefty fine. It was rumoured that he might be ousted from the popular Kpop band, but none of that was true.

Strict Diet and Regular workout

TXT's Soobin and Yeonjun had earlier revealed in an interview that Big Hit Entertainment mandates regular workouts and a strict diet for trainees, with limited food options. It's likely BTS follows the same regimen, given their intense performances. While restrictions may ease after debut.

No-eating Policy in office

TXT's Soobin and Yeonjun shared that Big Hit Entertainment has a strict no-eating policy in their office building, which likely applies to BTS as well. This rule was especially relevant during the pandemic, when BTS spent more time at the offices due to cancelled tours.

No hairstyle change without approval

BTS members reportedly need approval for hairstyle changes, but some are pushing back. Jin, tired of bleaching his hair, wanted to go back to his natural black colour in 2018. After a meeting with management, he was allowed to make the change, indicating a possible shift in the group's strict image control.
