Prithviraj Sukumaran's film ‘Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life’ hit theaters on March 28, 2024. Initially, reports suggested that the movie would be available on OTT platforms starting March 26, but this did not happen, leaving fans disappointed. Now, nearly two months after its theatrical release, fans eagerly waiting to watch the film online will have to wait even longer. The filmmakers have not yet announced a new OTT release date, keeping fans in suspense.
When Will Aadujeevitham Release On OTT?
It was reported that Prithviraj Sukumaran-starrer Aadujeevitham was set to make its OTT debut on Disney+Hotstar on May 26, 2024. However, the film is not available on the streaming platform. Now, the official statement of the Malayalam blockbuster’s OTT release is awaited.

‘Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life’ is a 2024 Malayalam survival drama film by Blessy, based on Benyamin's 2008 novel. The story follows Najeeb, a Malayali laborer enslaved as a goatherd in Saudi Arabia. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jimmy Jean-Louis, and K. R. Gokul, with supporting roles by Amala Paul and Shobha Mohan. Initially banned in GCC countries except the UAE, the ban was later lifted everywhere except Kuwait and Saudi Arabia."
‘The Goat Life’, released globally on March 28, 2024, has amassed over Rs 160 crore (US$20 million) to date. It ranks as the third highest-grossing Malayalam film ever, the second highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2024, the fourth highest-grossing South Indian film of the year, and one of the top-grossing Indian films of 2024.
Principal photography occurred in phases from March 2018 to July 2022, across six schedules in Wadi Rum, Jordan, the Algerian Sahara, and Kerala, India. The crew was stranded in Jordan for 70 days due to COVID-19 restrictions from March to May 2020 and was later repatriated to India via the Vande Bharat Mission. Filming concluded on July 14, 2022.
