Aavesham maintained its impressive performance through its first and second weeks, captivating audiences with its compelling storyline and stellar performances. Directed by Jithu Madhavan, the film has received widespread acclaim, surpassing Varshangalkku Shesham despite the latter's commendable reception.

Aavesham's box office success was evident from its debut week, where it amassed an estimated net revenue of approximately Rs 30.45 crore within India. Fahadh Faasil's action-comedy saw a strong opening, earning Rs 3.26 crore on its first day. By the 14th day, Aavesham had crossed the Rs 50 crore mark, accumulating around Rs 2.60 crore net in India, as reported by industry tracker Sacnilk. On 15th day, the film earned, Rs 2.55 crore, totaling Rs 54.75 crore. On Thursday, April 25, 2024, Aavesham recorded a Malayalam Occupancy rate of 34.31% overall.
Varshangalkku Shesham Box Office
Varshangalkku Shesham also experienced a promising start at the box office, pulling in an estimated net income of Rs 3.05 crore on its opening day in India. However, recent reports from the trade industry indicate a noticeable surge in its earnings, with around Rs 1 crore collected by its 15th day. Directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, the film delves into the intertwined narratives of two friends, Murali and Venu, across different time periods. It has accumulated a total of Rs 32.93 crore thus far.
