Although Abhishek Kumar may not have secured the Bigg Boss 17's winner's trophy, he managed to capture the hearts of the audience with his remarkable performance. Widely regarded as one of the strongest contenders on the show, Abhishek emerged as the first runner-up, with Munawar Faruqui clinching the title. While he has not officially announced his next project following his stint on Bigg Boss, there are widespread speculations suggesting that he might soon join the cast of Rohit Shetty's Khatron Ke Khiladi 14.
Ever since director Rohit Shetty entered Bigg Boss 17 and extended the show's offer to him, fans are strongly inclined to believe that Abhishek Kumar will be a part of the adventurous reality show. Amidst the speculations, a video featuring the Bigg Boss 17 runner-up has stirred discussions among fans. During a media interaction, Abhishek appeared to subtly hint at the possibility of joining the upcoming reality stunt show. In the video, Abhishek engages with the paparazzi and discusses his claustrophobia. He mentions that if he can overcome his fear of enclosed spaces, particularly in elevators, it might lead to something exciting, sparking excitement among his fans.
"Main aapki wajah se shayad lift bhi try karoon. Agar main yeh stunt karunga, toh shayad main… (Perhaps because of you, I might even try taking the lift. If I were to attempt this stunt, maybe I...)" Abhishek said with a slight smile, triggering excitement among the paparazzi who eagerly speculated that he would be a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Bigg Boss 17
The controversial reality show, hosted by Salman Khan, came to a close with Munawar Faruqui being crowned the winner and Abhishek Kumar securing the position of the first runner-up. The actor from Udaariyaan captivated the audience with his journey throughout the season. Immediately after the show concluded, Abhishek celebrated his success by reuniting with his Udaariyaan co-stars Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta, who welcomed him back with grand celebrations.
As winner Munawar Faruqui took home the trophy and a car. Bigg Biss 17 premiered on Colors on October 16, featuring contestants like Aishwarya Sharma, Neil Bhatt, Isha Malviya, Sana Khan, Rinku Dhawan, Sunny Arya, Khanzaadi, Soniya Bansal, and others.
