Abraham Ozler OTT Release Date: Malayalam blockbuster film 'Abraham Ozler' hit the theatres on January 11, 2024. The protagonist, portrayed by Jayaram, goes by the name Ozler, embodying a seasoned police officer haunted by the enigmatic vanishing of his family. Alongside Jayaram, the movie stars Anaswara Rajan, Arjun Ashokan, Senthil Krishna, Arya Salim, Anoop Menon, Jagadish, Dileesh Pothan, and features a notable cameo by Mammootty.

Abraham Ozler OTT Release Date and Platform

There were hints earlier that ‘Abraham Ozler’ would debut on an online streaming service on February 9. Then, there were talks about a possible release on February 16th. But, disappointingly, neither of these dates turned out to be true. The digital streaming rights for the film have been obtained by Amazon Prime Video, and the satellite rights belong to Star Network. Fans are eagerly waiting for an official confirmation about which platform will stream the movie.

Critics had mostly good things to say about the movie ‘Abraham Ozler’. However, some people weren't too impressed with the direction and screenplay. Despite that, the movie did quite well at the box office, earning around ₹36.65 crore globally. It became the first big success in Malayalam cinema for the year and also Jayaram's most successful film in terms of earnings.

The movie was officially announced in May 2023, with filming starting on May 20th of the same year. It was extensively shot in Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, and Wayanad and completed by mid-November. Midhun Mukundan composed the music, Theni Eswar took charge of cinematography, and Shameer Muhammed handled the editing.

Midhun Mukundan composed the music for the film, which includes a single track titled "Poomaname" from the 1985 movie Nirakkoottu. The original composition of this track was done by Shyam, with lyrics penned by Poovachal Khader. Nitin K. Siva lent his voice to the rendition in this film, while the original song featured vocals by K. S. Chithra, G. Venugopal, and K. G. Markose.
