Aditya Roy Kapur has stood out to be the boy next door in Bollywood. His latest release 'The Night Manager' on Disney+Hotstar was a huge success gaining immense fame across social media. Aditya Roy Kapur rose to fame with 'Aashiqui 2' in 2013 opposite Shraddha Kapoor, which was a commercial success.

However, before entering the field of acting, Aditya Roy Kapur worked as a video jockey and then ventured into the stream of acting. Now, the actor is all set to start a new phase in his life as he will be announcing his music album super soon.

Aditya Roy Kapur recently confessed that he will be launching his music album and also shared videos of him playing his guitar and singing alongside which garnered attention on social media. A self-confessed fan of rock music, Aditya Roy Kapur is taking out time from his busy schedule and now is honing his craft as a musician.

According to a report in News18, Aditya Roy Kapur was asked whether he wants to turn this hobby into his profession, to which he said, "I play music and now I'm working on an album that I'll be hopefully be putting out soon. I've been in the studio, working on that. Music has always been a passion and hobby but I'm pursuing it more seriously now."

The 'Malang' actor continued and said, "It had come up as a possibility but it never quite happened. I discussed that with Mohit (Suri; filmmaker) back in the time during Aashiqui 2. He wanted me to go into the studio just to sing the songs and get that sensation of singing them as a singer would because I was playing a singer in the film."

He also recalled how during the recording sessions of 'The Night Manager' and 'Malang', he would keep on singing inside the recording booth of the studio. He said, "So, I went into the studio and sang the songs of Aashiqui full-on no matter how bad I sounded. I think they put me on mute on their side of the studio but I felt like I was singing on my side and got it out of my system."

He also revealed his wish to sing for his upcoming film 'Metro In Dino' as he said, "I haven't sung in any film but I'm sure it could happen sometime in the future. I believe that, be it Hindi or English, singing is singing. But I would like to do a little bit of work on singing in Hindi if I want to do it properly for a film."

Talking about his professional front, Aditya Roy Kapur was last seen in 'The Night Manager' alongside Anil Kapoor and Sobhita Dhulipala. He will next be seen in Anurag Basu's 'Metro In Dino' alongside Sara Ali Khan. The film will hit theaters in 2024.
