Article 370 Banned In Gulf Countries: In an unexpected turn, the widely praised action political thriller, which emerged as a sleeper hit domestically, has been banned in Gulf countries. This decision marks the second film this year to encounter such censorship in the region. Despite enjoying success at the domestic and overseas box office and receiving acclaim from both audiences and critics, the ban in the Gulf presents a setback for the Hindi film industry. It denies audiences in the region the chance to witness an acclaimed Indian cinematic creation that has been widely celebrated.

Having amassed a collection of 15.20 crore in just two days, 'Article 370' has already surpassed the box office performance of numerous recent releases. Additionally, the film is experiencing remarkable success in international markets such as Australia, New Zealand, UK, USA, and Canada, highlighting significant interest in the movie.

In the film, Yami Gautam portrays the character Zooni Haksar, an intelligence officer. The storyline revolves around the revocation of Article 370 of the Constitution, which granted special status to the former state of Jammu and Kashmir. The narrative resonates deeply with themes of identity, struggle, and resilience, portraying the aspirations and obstacles encountered by individuals during tumultuous times. Through this exploration, the film encourages understanding and dialogue among viewers.

Previously, the aerial action thriller 'Fighter,' starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, faced a ban on release in all Gulf countries except the UAE.
