Box Office Analysis: Following National Cinema Lovers Day, it appears that another significant clash is on the horizon. The film 'Article 370,' featuring Yami Gautam and Priyamani, has hit theaters today along with Vidyut Jammwal's action-packed film Crakk: Jeetegaa... Toh Jiyegaa, directed by Aditya Datt and co-starring Nora Fatehi, Arjun Rampal, and Amy Jackson. Their substantial fan base serves as a significant draw for theaters, contributing to the initial collections of movies.
Article 370 Box Office Report
Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Aditya Suhas Jambhale, the movie explores the PMO's decision to revoke the special status granted to Jammu and Kashmir. Article 370 has premiered in 1,500 cinema halls across 2,200 screens in India. According to Sacnilk.com, the movie is poised for a strong start at the box office. In the three major national chains - PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis, the film has already sold over 1,00,000 tickets for its opening day. The film is anticipated to gross over Rs 5 crores net on its first day.
Produced by Aditya Dhar, the film also features Priyamani and Arun Govil. Yami portrays the role of an intelligence agent Zooni in the movie, which centers around countering terrorism in Kashmir by nullifying Article 370. On August 5, 2019, the Central government revoked Article 370, which granted special status to the former state of Jammu and Kashmir, subsequently dividing it into the union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

Vidyut Jammwal's Crakk BO
Based on presales, the film is estimated to earn a nett box office collection between Rs 2-3 crores. Notably, tickets for the opening day are priced at a limited rate of Rs 99 for standard tickets. With a release on over 750 screens, the film is expected to gross over Rs 2 crores oversees.
Helmed by Aditya Datt, the film also features Arjun Rampal, Amy Jackson, and Nora Fatehi. Social media reports suggest that this action thriller promises an enthralling cinematic experience. The narrative unfolds with Siddhu, a bold adventurer from Mumbai, whose ultimate dream is to compete in the underground extreme sports tournament named Maidaan.
