About Article 370

Article 370 of the Indian Constitution provided special autonomous status to the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Enacted in 1949, it played a significant role in defining the relationship between Jammu and Kashmir and the Indian Union. This provision granted Jammu and Kashmir its own constitution, separate flag, and greater autonomy compared to other Indian states. Additionally, it limited the legislative authority of the Indian Parliament over the state. However, on August 5, 2019, the Government of India revoked Article 370 through a presidential order, thereby eliminating the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.

Directed and written by Aditya Dhar and Monal Thaakar, the film with a runtime of 2 hours and 40 minutes, effectively maintains viewer engagement.
