Kannada cinema has achieved new heights with blockbuster movies like the 'KGF' franchise, '777 Charlie' and 'Kantara'. 'Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare' is the latest addition to the Kannada movies that have found success with big names like Rishab Shetty and Rakshit Shetty associated with the project. The movie is set in a boys' hostel and focuses on a thrilling yet hilarious story of an event that happens one night in the hostel. It features debutants Prajwal BP, Manjunath Nayaka, Rakesh Rajkumar, Srivatsa and Tejas Jayanna Urs with Rishab Shetty and Pawan Kumar making special appearance.

Starring Yash and Kriti Kharbanda in the lead roles, 'Googly' revolves around Sharath and Swath, who fall in love but get separated due to some misunderstandings. They reunite a few years later at a friend's wedding. The movie is streaming on Zee5.

4. Gaalipata

'Gaalipata' stars Ganesh, Anant Nag, Rajesh Krishnan, Diganth, Daisy Bopanna, Neethu and Bhavana Rao in the lead roles. The movie revolves around Ganesh, Diganth and Kitty, who arrive in Mugilupete to stay at Diganth's grandfather's farmhouse. Things take a turn when Ganesh falls in love with Sowmya, a widow who stays with her in-laws. It is streaming on Hotstar.

5. Gaalipata 2

'Gaalipata 2' revolves around three college friends, Gani, Mugilpete Diganth and Bhushan, who return to Neer Kote to meet their sick teacher Kishore and help the teacher reunite with his long-lost son Revanth aka Appu. The movie stars Ganesh, Anant Nag, Diganth, Pawan Kumar, Vaibhavi Shandilya, Samyuktha Menon and Sharmiela Mandre in the lead roles. It is streaming on Zee5.
