Devara: Part 1 starring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor in the leads is all set to release on 27th September 2024. Recently, a poster featuring Jr NTR in dual avatars was released. This created a buzz among the fans on social media about his character and about the storyline of the film as well. Amid all the speculations about the magnum opus, Janhvi Kapoor’s character has been kept a mystery by the makers till now, which raised equal curiosity among fans. As there are no teasers of her character Thangam shared till now except a song which also stars Jr NTR. The actress, who is going to make her Telugu debut with Devara, was seen in a saree draped in traditional South Indian way. By her look in the song, it seems the actress will be portraying a simple village girl from a periodic timeline. 

Janhvi last year also teased her look from the movie by posting a picture on Instagram from the set and also revealing her character name. She wrote, “Missing set and the team and being Thangam ❤️ #Devara.”

Not only this, but Janhvi also some light on her character during the promotion of one of her movies Mr & Mrs Mahi in Delhi. As quoted by ANI, the actress spilled the beans about the role she played in Devara and said that Thangam is an entertaining character. She also promised that the movie will be worth the wait. Janhvi further shared her gratitude for being able to work in the movie with such excellent actors. 

Devara: Part 1 stars Jr NTR as Devara and Saif Ali Khan portraying the role of an antagonist named Bhaira. The action saga also features Prakash Raj, Meka Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Chaitra Roy and Shruti Marathe in key roles.
