Ajay Devgn is back in action as he initiated the shooting for 'Raid 2' on January 6. Following the immense success of the 2018 blockbuster 'Raid,' Devgn joins forces once again with director Rajkumar Gupta to bring audiences another gripping tale from the files of the Income Tax Department. The film, slated for theatrical release on November 15, 2024, promises to be an amalgamation of intensity, drama, and suspense.
The shooting for 'Raid 2' has commenced in Mumbai, marking the beginning of a cinematic journey that will also weave through the bustling cities of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and the scenic landscapes of Rajasthan. Backed by the creative prowess of Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar the film is expected to create as deep a mark as its first part.
The 'Raid' franchise pays homage to the unsung heroes of the Income Tax Department, bringing to light the uncharted tales from their casebooks. Like its predecessor, the sequel draws inspiration from a true case, promising an authentic narrative that will unfold on the silver screen.

The legacy of 'Raid' expands as Telugu superstar Ravi Teja gears up for the official remake titled 'Mr. Bachchan,' directed by Harish Shankar. Ajay Devgn, graciously granting the rights to Ravi Teja and Harish Shankar, sees his iconic character Amay Patnaik reincarnated in the Telugu adaptation. The spirit of collaboration extends as the 'Mr. Bachchan' team, including Ravi Teja, Harish Shankar, producers TG Vishwa Prasad, and Vivek Kuchibotla, journey to Mumbai to partake in the opening ceremony of 'Raid 2.'
