'Mirzapur' is one of the most popular web series in India and is finally back with its third season. Despite the huge hype ahead of its release, 'Mirzapur Season 3' received a mixed response from the audience. In a recent interview with Ottplay, Ali Fazal, who plays the role of Guddu Bhaiya in the show, talked about how he reacted after getting mixed reviews for 'Mirzapur Season 3'.

Ali Fazal told OTTplay, "Quite personally. It hits personally; we don't take it personally. I think that's if I'm being true, because we're not. Each of us is not responsible for the whole thing. And it's very easy to kind of say, 'Hey, that's not my...,' but it hits you because you're part of the family; you're part of the storytelling process. We are all safe to say now, after three seasons, that we are collaborators on this in a larger sense than just putting in our craft."

He further added, "So yeah, of course, but we take it in, but that still doesn't mean we get affected and start using those tropes because there's a billion people watching this. Also, we have to keep in mind that it's one of the biggest shows in the world, and so there's bound to be all kinds of opinions from all over the world that will come and are coming, and with that come conspiracy theories. And with that come different storylines, and favouritism happens, which is very natural."

Vijay Varma, in recent interview with News18 Showsha, talked about his sex scene with co-star Shweta Tripathi in 'Mirzapur 2' and talked about how those scenes shaped his character Chote. He said, "That moment had this boy who is very wide-eyed, innocent, and romantic in his heart and head and is head-over-heels in love with this girl. What happened then is that he probably learned something about himself. She was the teacher there."

"It was interesting for this character to go through an interesting experiment like this with Golu. On the surface, she comes across as a very normal and cutesy girl. But people forget that in her first scene, she’s seen reading an erotica of a certain nature in a library. She’s bent differently and she introduces him to it (erotic sex)," he further added.

'Mirzapur 3' also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, Harshita Gaur, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Isha Talwar, Lilliput, Anjum Sharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Anangsha Biswas and Neha Sargam.
