UP News: Two men from UP's Varanasi were arrested for imitating a scene from the OTT series 'Mirzapur' for a social media reel, according to the police. The two youths have been identified as Aman Yadav Katta and Ved Prakash Yadav.
In a video that was doing rounds on the internet, Ved is seen taking a round of Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya's statue in a car as both of his legs are resting on the dashboard. The video also shows Ved smoking, while sitting on a chair, and Aman standing behind him.
The 'Mirzapur' theme music is playing in the background.
According to Inspector Cantt Shivakant Mishra, the two were taken into custody on suspicion of disturbing the public order.

After appearing before a magistrate, the two were given bail and freed.
The police officer claimed that locals became angry about the video when it went viral since it was filmed next to the statue of Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, the founder of BHU and a great freedom fighter.
In a separate instance, Dharmendra Sharma and Ritesh Kumar, two sub-inspectors of the Uttar Pradesh Police, were suspended for allegedly creating reels in which they pretended to be security guards for a real estate dealer.
The recordings were shot in the offices of Sartaz, a real estate broker in the Ghaziabad district's Tronica City area (placed on the Loni circle).
