Alia Bhatt's fans are expressing shock and concern as a new deepfake video of the actress has gone viral on social media. In the video, Alia appears to be participating in the popular 'Get Ready With Me' (GRWM) trend. The clip, shared on Instagram by a user named 'Sameeksha Avtr', has already garnered over 17 million views.

Fans quickly noticed something was off. “I thought it’s Alia, then I watched carefully, and she is not Alia,” one fan commented. Another expressed their worries, stating, “AI is very dangerous.” A third user echoed this sentiment, adding, “What the hell? Musk was right. AI is winning everything for real.” Another called the deepfake technology “dangerous.” Another user hilariously wrote, "Alia  Bhatt from meesho" comparing the real Alia with the deepfake version.

This isn't the first time Alia Bhatt has been targeted by deepfake technology. Just last month, a similar video surfaced online, showing Alia's face morphed onto the body of actress Wamiqa Gabbi. This incident has highlighted growing concerns over the misuse of artificial intelligence in creating realistic but misleading content.

Alia Bhatt is not alone in facing such issues. Other Bollywood stars like Rashmika Mandanna, Kajol, and Katrina Kaif have also been victims of deepfake technology. Earlier this year, a deepfake video of Aamir Khan went viral, showing him seemingly promoting a political party.

The video prompted swift action from Mumbai police, who registered an FIR against an unknown individual for impersonation, cheating, and other offences under the Information Technology Act. Aamir Khan’s spokesperson later clarified that the actor has never endorsed any political party in his career, emphasizing his commitment to public awareness campaigns for elections.

Ranveer Singh has also been targeted by deepfakes. A video of him apparently criticizing the government and urging people to vote for "justice" during the Lok Sabha elections circulated widely. However, it was later confirmed that the video was edited and morphed.

The increasing prevalence of deepfake videos is raising alarms among fans and celebrities alike.
