Payal Kapadia’s critically acclaimed film All We Imagine as Light, which recently won the prestigious Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival, is scheduled to hit theatres across India on November 22, 2024. The film will be distributed by Spirit Media and follows its successful runs in France, Italy and other international markets. Featuring a powerful performance by Kani Kusruti, alongside Divya Prabha and Chhaya Kadam, All We Imagine as Light tells the poignant story of three women who navigate life as outsiders in a bustling city, supporting one another through their struggles.

Director Payal Kapadia expressed her excitement about the upcoming release, stating, “This film has been years in the making, and with our partnership with Spirit Media, I am incredibly excited for the next phase. For the first time, Indian audiences will have the opportunity to experience this film in theatres, where cinema truly comes to life.”

The film's release will cover major cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram and Kolkata, making it accessible to a wide audience eager to witness this remarkable narrative. All We Imagine as Light promises to be a significant cinematic experience, shedding light on themes of connection and resilience among those who often find themselves on the fringes of society.
