BTS J-Hope is back after completing his mandatory military service on October 17, 2024 and ARMYs couldn't be more thrilled. Known for his infectious energy and positivity, the rapper held his first Weverse live soon after his discharge, leaving fans around the world emotional and excited. During the live chat, J-Hope opened up about his military experience and his gratitude towards his fans.
He reflected on his time in the military, calling it a challenge and shared some light-hearted stories, such as how he regretted not bringing a water bottle during his training. Despite his challenging time, J-Hope found humour in the small moments, recalling how even visiting the practice room felt like a vacation for him.

One of the most touching parts of the live session was when J-Hope, surrounded by balloons and a celebratory cake, thanked his fans for their unwavering support over the past 18 months. His famous catchphrase, "I'm your hope, you're my hope, I'm J-Hope," sent ARMY into a frenzy, with many fans expressing their emotions across social media. J-Hope also teased his plans to prepare for his upcoming activities, promising fans that he would return with even more amazing content.

BTS leader RM, who will be discharged in June next year, showed his support for J-Hope by sharing a congratulatory message on his Instagram story, "Congratulations friend @/uarmyhope," accompanied by a photo from J-Hope's discharge day. He wrote, "I’ll catch up with you very soon," promising to spend time with Hobi.
