All We Imagine As Light On OTT Twitter Review: Payal Kapadia’s critically acclaimed movie has made its digital debut on OTT today. The film has been receiving positive responses from the audience on X. The movie talks about the life of a nurse named Prabha whose routine has been disrupted after she receives an unexpected gift from her estranged husband. On the other hand, her roommate Anu tries to find a room in the city to get intimate with her boyfriend. The movie stars Divya Prabha, Kani Kusruti, Hridhu Haroon, Chhaya Kadam, Tintumol Joseph, Azees Nedumangad and Bipin Nadkarni in key roles. It was released in theatres on September 21, 2024. All We Imagine As Light won the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival 2024.
As the movie made its debut on Disney + Hotstar, viewers have been sharing their views on it. A user said, “All we imagine as light; A story of three women trying to navigate through the storms in their lives. What a movie.” A tweet read, “A touching story of hope, but could’ve been stronger. Rating: 2.75/5.” Another user said, “Watched “All we imagine as light” and thank you @PayalKapadia86 mam for being born in India.” A netizen wrote, “Two powerful performances in one year! 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐊𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐢, absolutely shines in "Girls Will Be Girls" and "All We Imagine As Light." Her talent deserves more recognition.”
Another netizen tweeted, “The feeling of watching All We Imagine as Light reminds me of watching Yi Yi for the first time. The films are not very similar, but there is something uniquely transfixing when a master of their craft invites you into a world that is almost too real…” A tweet read, “Kani Kusturi's work in All We Imagine As Light is so understated and achingly beautiful. I hate that she's being overlooked by majority of the critics groups this season.”

What a movie. ❤️
#All_We_Imagine_as_Light follows three women—Prabha, Anu, and Parvaty—in Mumbai, exploring love, loneliness, and survival. Their bond shines in a city that challenges yet energizes. A heartfelt journey of struggle and support. 🌆

Make the "13-member all-male jury" from the Film Federation of India regret both their selection & the decision to issue a statement where they refer to All We Imagine as Light as "very poor technically."
