Amaran Box Office Collection Day 11:  Sivakarthikeyan starrer military drama has been getting a great response from the audience. The actor brought Major Mukund Varadarajan’s contribution to the nation during the 2014 Qazipathri Operation to life on screen. The movie has been loved by the viewers from Day 1 of its release. Amaran culminated its second-weekend collection on a strong note. If the number rises, the movie will cross the Rs 200 crore mark by the end of this coming week.

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 16.00 crore on Day 11. The net collection of the movie is Rs 152.75 crore. It had an overall 73.33 per cent Tamil occupancy in theatres on Sunday. It had 63.78 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 83.08 per cent in afternoon shows, 82.03 per cent in evening shows and 64.43 per cent in night shows. The movie had 52.62 per cent Telugu occupancy in theatres. It had 31.57 per cent in morning shows, 69.72 per cent in afternoon shows, 64.75 per cent in evening shows and 44.44 per cent in night shows. 

About Amaran

The story revolves around the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan who sacrificed his life for the nation during the Qazipathri Operation in Shopian in 2014. The movie features Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Suresh Chakravarthy, Shreekumar, Mir Salman, Lallu Prasath, Geetha Kailasam and Shyam Mohan in key roles. The movie was released in theatres on October 31, 2024.

The movie was made on a budget of Rs 130 crore. It has been directed by Rajkumar Periasamy and produced by Kamal Haasan, R. Mahendran and Vivek Krishnani.
