Amaran OTT Release Delayed: Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi starrer Tamil movie has been running exceptionally well at the ticket windows. After 15 days of its theatrical release, the movie has earned Rs 172.1 crore. The war drama has been receiving positive responses from the audience. After its successful theatrical release, the movie will make its digital debut soon. Read to know more about the streaming details of the movie.
Amaran OTT Release Date Delayed
Generally, South movies are released on streaming platforms within four weeks of their theatrical release. But, the case would be different for Amaran as it is performing well in theatres. Earlier, it was reported that the movie will be released at the end of November. Notably, Netflix has acquired the digital rights of Amaran and it will start streaming on the OTT platform from December 5, 2024. If you have missed watching this movie in theatres, do not worry Amaran is all set to stream soon online.
About Amaran
The story is focused on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan and his sacrifice to the nation. It is set against the backdrop of the Qazipathri Operation in Shopian which took place back in 2014. It was released in theatres on October 31, 2024. The movie features Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Suresh Chakravarthy, Shreekumar, Mir Salman and Geetha Kailasam in key roles. The movie was made on a budget of Rs 130 crore. It has been directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. Amaran has been produced by Kamal Haasan, Sony Pictures International Productions, and R Mahendran. The music in the film is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
