Ameesha Patel impressed the audience with her performance in Gadar 2: The Katha Continues. The movie also stars Sunny Deol in the lead role. Shortly after the success of Gadar 2, makers announced the third instalment of the hit franchise which will also have the same cast, but Ameesha Patel has put forward her condition for playing Sakeena in Gadar 3.
Ameesha Patel Mentions Her Condition For Gadar 3
During a recent AMA on X, a fan asked the actress if her screen time could be increased in Gadar 3. She responded, “Firstly… Gadar 2 was a great film and the screenplay was executed as per the script; it’s very important to keep that as a top priority if you want your film to be loved. As an actor, one can’t be selfish and must keep the film before our needs. I love Sakina (her Gadar character) and I value the love you all have towards Sakina. But yes, if offered Gadar 3, I will surely only do it if I’m superrrr happy with the script, as I was in Gadar 1.”

Further confirming Humraaz 2, Ameesha Patel said, “Ameesha also confirmed Humraaz 2 when she posted, “Script work is fully on for HUMRAAZ 2 as per Abbas-Mustan ji… my super cool Bobby (Bobby Deol) nein Animal mein dhamaka kar diya tho script woh level ki is needed (Bobby was so good in Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal and the Humraaz 2 script needs to do him justice), which directors and producers are working on. This is all I know… once I know more, I will surely let all fans know.”

Despite this, it achieved great success at the box office, earning more than ₹691.08 crore (US$83 million) worldwide, surpassing its production budget of Rs 60 crore (US$7.2 million). In 2023, it ranked as the fifth highest-grossing Indian film and the eighth highest-grossing Hindi film of all time.
However, fans are eagerly anticipating whether Bobby Deol and Ameesha Patel can capture the same enchantment they brought to Humraaz. Moreover, there is keen interest among fans for any new information about Gadar 3.
