Aamir Khan's daughter, Ira, tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Nupur Shikhare, in a private ceremony hosted by the superstar himself. The intimate wedding took place at Mumbai's Taj Lands End in Bandra. Among the attendees were their immediate family members, including Aamir Khan, along with his ex-wives Reena and Kiran Rao, Imran Khan and Fatima Sana Shaikh. At the wedding, the bride, adorned herself in a beautiful lehenga, elegantly draped with a dupatta covering her head. On the other hand, Nupur opted for an unconventional choice, forgoing the traditional sherwani and safa (headgear), instead donning a black vest and shorts.
Photos and videos capturing Nupur jogging from his residence in Santacruz to the wedding venue quickly went viral, showcasing his unique wedding day approach. Later, the celebrity trainer joined in dancing with friends to lively dhol beats outside the venue. Amidst cheering guests, moments of Nupur and Ira signing the marriage documents, surrounded by their families and friends, were captured in heartwarming videos. Aamir is seen clapping along as Ira and Nupur sign the marriage document and accepted each other as husband and wife.
In another video, Ira humorously mentioned that Nupur 'is going to go shower....Goodbye', alluding to his decision to jog from home to the wedding venue—a remarkable 8-kilometer distance. Nupur kept to his athleisure outfit even during the registration of the marriage. Well, after the shower, Nupur dressed in a sherwani and was seen posing with Ira and her family. Alongside them stood Nupur's mother, Aamir Khan, Reena Dutta, Kiran Rao, Junaid Khan, and Azad, all partaking in the joyous occasion.

A particularly delightful scene unfolded as Aamir Khan engaged in a conversation with Kiran Rao, his ex-wife, exchanging warm sentiments. Reportedly, Ira and Nupur are set for another celebration with a wedding ceremony scheduled in Udaipur on January 8. Following this, a lavish reception in Mumbai is planned for January 13. The starry reception is expected to be attended by the who's who of Bollywood.
