Amitabh Bachchan recently shared an overwhelming message to the audience who gave immense support and love to Kalki 2898 AD. Nag Ashwin's sci-fi film also features Prabhas, talking about him the legendary actor said that it is routine for his film to cross Rs 1000 crore. Big B said that he is grateful to be part of this project and shared that he watched the movie four times and every time he found something new.  The veteran actor also thanked Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. 

In a new video posted by the filmmakers, Amitabh said “I am here to express my extreme gratitude to all the wonderful people who have been supportive in making our recently released film Kalki 2898 AD (successful) and giving it the kind of appreciation, love and affection that has now reserved its value to more than a ₹1000 crore... I want to also express my thanks and gratitude for the honour it has given me in being with my co-artistes, and the stratospheric presence they have had in the film industry and still do – Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika.” 

“For Prabhas, this may be something of a routine because a lot of his films cross this ₹1000 crore figure. But for me, I am truly indebted and very grateful to have been made a part of this huge concept called Kalki... I have already seen the film four times... and each time, I have discovered something new, something that I may have missed when I saw it the first time,” he added. 

The science fiction action movie Kalki 2898 AD featured Prabhas as Bhairava, Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwatthama, Kamal Haasan as Supreme Yaskin, Deepika Padukone as Sumathi, Disha Patani as Roxie, Saswata Chatterjee as Commander Manas and Keerthy Suresh as Bujji. Mrunal Thakur, Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salmaan, SS Rajamouli and Ram Gopal Varma made special appearances. The movie was released in theatres on 27th June.
