Ananya Panday, who is currently busy promoting her upcoming movie CTRL, has opened up about how she once dealt with a breakup in life. The actress told Galatta India that she burned the photographs of her ex to get rid of her emotions. After this, she became more mature to handle things with clarity.  She firmly believes that everyone should deal with their heartbreaks as there is nothing permanent. 

When asked about how she copes with breakup, Ananya said, “Just deal with it. Nothing is permanent. You will figure it out. It will get better, and knowing that is good enough.” The actress admitted that she took more dramatic measures during her younger age. She added, “I don’t do that now, but I have done it. It’s not like I’m the only person on earth who has done this. A lot of people have. It’s a nice way to release your frustration.”

For the unversed, Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur earlier made headlines for secretly dating each other for a couple of years. Both the stars even dropped hints about their relationship in Koffee With Karan. However, the news of their breakup surfaced earlier this year. 

Coming back to Ananya’s work front, the actress will be next seen in CTRL. The movie highlights how a person can erase someone from their life by using AI tools. It also features Vihaan Samat, Devika Vatsa, Suchita Trivedi and Samit Gambhir in key roles. CRTL will be releasing on OTT platform Netflix on October 4. While sharing the trailer of the film, the makers wrote on Instagram “CTRL your life. ALT your memories. DEL the baggage. CTRL is out on October 4, only on Netflix.”
