Aneethi OTT Release: When And Where To Stream This Tamil Crime Drama

Aneethi To Release On OTT: Arjun Das, known for his impressive role in 'Kaithi,' delighted movie enthusiasts when he revealed his lead role in Vasanthabalan's 'Aneethi.' The film cast Dushara Vijayan as the female lead and was labelled as a thriller. Urban Boyz Studios produced the movie, which was released in July. It received a mixed response from both critics and audiences, with some elements of the film receiving praise. This project marked Vasanthabalan's return to directing after a nearly two-year hiatus since 'Jail.' It was also Arjun's first film of the year.

The film will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Aha Tamil starting September 15. Fans who missed the chance to watch it in theatres are eagerly anticipating its digital release. This Tamil movie is unique as it will be released on two different OTT platforms on the same day.

The film's plot centres on a delivery boy who encounters a health problem. While undergoing treatment, he develops feelings for a girl. He envisions a future filled with happiness alongside her, but destiny unfolds differently. His life takes a different trajectory when his doctor informs him that he has a specific type of OCD that triggers homicidal impulses in him.

GV Prakash has provided the musical score for the movie, and it features cinematography by AM Edwin Sakay and editing by Ravikumar M. SK Jeeva is the dialogue writer for ‘Aneethi,’ while action choreography has been handled by Phoenix Prabhu and Don Ashok.

The movie marks Dushara's second appearance in 2023, following her role in ‘Kazhuvethi Moorkkan.’ Arjun Chidambaram, Kaali Venkat, Sha Ra, and Vanitha Vijayakumar, among others, played important roles in the film.
