Kushi OTT Release Date: The romantic drama 'Kushi,' starring Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, hit theatres on September 1 and received a favourable response from the audience. Directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers with a budget of Rs 70 crores, the film has managed to accumulate nearly Rs 38 crores in revenue up to this point. However, its performance has started to drop as the new week began across its release regions.

Over the past couple of days, the audience turnout for 'Kushi' has experienced a sharp decline, resulting in a significant slowdown in its box office collections. It appears that the film has managed to recoup only 70 per cent of its pre-release investment so far. The upcoming days might pose challenges for the film, especially since 'Jawan' and 'Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty' have started strong with good audience attendance in the Telugu states.

According to a report by OTTplay, Netflix has acquired the digital rights to the film for a substantial sum. Now, it has been revealed that the movie will be available for digital streaming either on September 30 or October 4, 2023.

In fact, due to the film's poor performance at the box office, the likelihood of its digital release by the end of this month is higher. 'Kushi' explores the relationship of a couple from different religious backgrounds and addresses the sensitive topic of pregnancy.

About Kushi:

Viplav (portrayed by Vijay Deverakonda) is a BSNL employee who deliberately requests a transfer to Kashmir in pursuit of his Mani Ratnam-inspired dream. He yearns for snow-covered mountains, AR Rahman's music, and passionate romance. However, his aspirations collide with the harshness of reality. Amid the chaos, he falls in love with Aradhya, played by Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who poses as a begum from Pakistan. Their cross-border love story would have been simpler than the complexities of their respective family backgrounds.

The film's super-hit songs have played a significant role in 'Kushi's successful opening. In the upcoming days, it remains to be seen how much more Kushi will earn at the box office.
