Anil Kapoor Exits From Housefull 5 After Disagreement With Producer Sajid Nadiadwala: Report

Anil Kapoor has been entertaining his fans for more than four decades now and still manages to charm the audiences with his acting skills. The actor was gearing up for Tarun Mansukhani’s upcoming movie Housefull 5 but as per the latest report, he has opted out of it. The report suggests that there was a disagreement between Sajid Nadiadwala and Anil Kapoor regarding the actor’s fees. This led to the ultimate departure of Anil Kapoor from this big banner project. 

If the latest reports are to be believed, after the change in cast, makers have decided to rework Nana Patekar’s role in Housefull 5. Both the actors were initially set to showcase comedic chemistry in the film. However, another report suggests that the makers of the movie are considering Arjun Rampal in the movie. Till now, there have been no official announcements from the actors or the makers of Housefull 5. 

Earlier, the movie was scheduled to release on Diwali this year but later was postponed to June 2025. In 2023, the makers of the film shared an official statement on their Instagram account saying, “The Housefull franchise owes its massive success to the audiences, and we hope for a similar reception for Housefull 5. The team has crafted an absolutely mind-blowing story that demands top-notch VFX. Therefore, we've made the decision to push the release to ensure we deliver five times the entertainment with a cinematic experience. Housefull 5 will now be releasing on 6th June 2025.”
