The poster of 'Animal' had 'superstar' written with Ranbir Kapoor's name but director Sandeep Reddy Vanga revealed that the 'Barfi' actor did not want a superstar tag. While speaking to Pinkvilla about this, Sandeep said, "He (Ranbir) never wanted that. Very clearly, he didn’t want that. He said please don’t do that. But for the poster, I convinced him because I said forget about what you are feeling, it’s my feeling. I feel that you are a superstar. I feel like putting that ‘superstar’ before your name.”
The long runtime of 'Animal' was the topic of discussion ahead of the film's release. Talking about the film's long duration, Ranbir Kapoor said, "We are releasing a film this long not because we feel arrogant about it. We felt that the story required that time to reach the audience in the best way possible. We have seen a cut of this film which was 3 hours and 49 minutes. And that cut was also entertaining.”
