Param Sundari: In a surprising turn of events, Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor are united for a romantic movie, Param Sundari. Yes, you read that right! The love story, which is set against the stunning Keralan backwaters, will be an unexpected rollercoaster filled with mayhem and unexpected turns.

The makers of the rom-com introduced Sidharth Malhotra as Param from the North, followed by Janhvi Kapoor as Sundari from the South. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Param Sundari is directed by Tushar Jalota. Wearing a white kurta and dhoti, Malhotra was spotted standing in the water. He held Kapoor in his arms while she smiled in astonishment in a beautiful white saree.

Announcing the movie, Maddock Films captioned the post, "North ka swag, South ki grace – two worlds collide and spark fly. Dinesh Vijan presents #ParamSundari, a love story directed by Tushar Jalota, coming to cinemas on 25th July 2025. Meet the suave Sidharth Malhotra as Param and the vivacious Janhvi Kapoor as Sundari."

In the first look, Janhvi Kapoor looked lovely in a red kurta, emerald earrings, a bindi and a gajra. She flaunted her smile whilst she gave a side-look against the backdrop of water. The caption read, "Introducing @janhvikapoor as South ki Sundari, here to melt your heart with her grace."

Another poster featuring Sidharth Malhotra as Param caught our eyes. He was clicked against a similar backdrop of water in the picture. Wearing a denim jacket, sunglasses and a white t-shirt, he looked handsome as ever.

The fresh pairing of Sidharth and Janhvi took the internet by surprise. Many dropped hearts and fire emojis for the duo. Some were instantly reminded of Rohit Shetty's Chennai Express where North meets South.

One of the users wrote, "Another Chennai express loading North India and South India connected movie like away so Meenakshi Sundarwswar also very good and feel good movie like that is going to happen I think...she is from Tamil Nadu so get connect movie easily for South."

Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra was last seen in Rohit Shetty-directed Prime Video series, Indian Police Force. The action drama also starred Raashi Khanna, Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi in significant parts. Janhvi Kapoor, on the other hand, made her Telugu debut alongside Jr NTR in Devara: Part 1. The movie also starred Saif Ali Khan and is currently streaming on Netflix.
