Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are overjoyed to announce the arrival of their second child. Sharing the exciting news on February 15, the couple revealed that they have been blessed with a baby boy. Anushka, in a heartfelt Instagram post, unveiled the name of their newborn son as Akaay.
Sharing the announcement on Instagram, Anushka Sharma wrote, "With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay and Vamika’s little brother into this world! We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time."

Soon after the post went viral, celebs poured in sent congratulatory wishes to the couple, as evident from the comments section. Alia Bhatt commented, "How beautiful! Congratulations," Ranveer Singh also dropped evil eye emoticons, while Munmum Dutta also commented, "Congratulations favourite couple."
News of Anushka Sharma's second pregnancy became a hot topic in October 2023, sparked by a report from Hindustan Times. According to sources cited by the entertainment portal, the actress was said to be expecting her second child with husband Virat Kohli. The insider mentioned that, similar to their previous pregnancy, Anushka and Virat planned to announce the happy news to the public at a later date.
