Anushka Sharma may not have been physically present at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, but she made sure to celebrate India’s triumph against Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The actress, who has been a constant supporter of her husband Virat Kohli, shared a heartwarming Instagram story, capturing Kohli’s century moment on TV. Adding folded hands and heart emojis, Anushka expressed her pride and joy as India secured a crucial victory over their arch-rivals.

Kohli delivered yet another masterclass, notching up his 51st ODI century in a crucial chase. He reached the milestone in 111 balls, with seven boundaries, showcasing his composure and determination. His innings was well-supported by Shreyas Iyer, who started slow but accelerated to a fifty in 63 deliveries. Their partnership helped India comfortably chase down the target, leaving Pakistan on the brink of elimination.

Earlier in the match, Kohli also became the fastest batter to reach 14,000 ODI runs, achieving the feat in just 287 innings, surpassing Sachin Tendulkar’s previous record of 350 innings. With this, Kohli joined an elite list of batters alongside Tendulkar and Kumar Sangakkara. Notably, his 13,000th ODI run had also come against Pakistan during the Asia Cup in 2023. Anushka Sharma's social media post resonated with many, reflecting the unwavering support she has always shown for her husband’s career.
