Cricketer Virat Kohli has returned to India following Team India's historic win at the T20 Cricket World Cup. The first thing he did upon arrival in New Delhi was reunite with his family, bringing immense joy to his wife, actor Anushka Sharma.

Virat's sister, Bhawna Kohli Dhingra, shared heartwarming pictures of their family get-together on social media. The photos featured Virat with his brother, Vikas, and their nephews and niece. Anushka, clearly moved by the reunion, left a heart emoji in the comments section of the post.

In her Instagram post, Bhawna wrote, "Celebrating the win. SUPERPROUD." The images showed Virat happily posing with his family, with some family members taking turns wearing his champion's medal. Team India achieved a remarkable late-stage victory against South Africa in Barbados, clinching their first major trophy in over a decade. Shortly after the victory, both Virat Kohli and captain Rohit Sharma announced their retirement from T20 internationals.

Throughout the tournament, Anushka Sharma was a constant support for Virat, cheering him on from the stands. The tournament was held in the United States of America and the West Indies. The couple recently welcomed their second child, a son named Akaay, adding to their family which includes their daughter, Vamika.

Following their return to India, Team India was scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi for breakfast before attending a BCCI felicitation function at the Wankhede Stadium. They are also set to participate in a victory lap in Mumbai. Tickets for the felicitation ceremony are free, but entry will be given on a first-come-first-serve basis. The team had been stuck in Barbados for several days after their victory due to Hurricane Beryl.

Anushka Sharma has been away from the silver screen since her 2018 film, Zero. Her much-anticipated comeback project, Chakda Xpress, has faced some delays, leaving her fans eagerly awaiting her return.
