Anushka Sharma has returned to Mumbai! Recently, she was spotted at the airport, smiling and waving at photographers, though Virat Kohli was not with her. The couple, who have become a symbol of relationship goals, continue to captivate fans not only with their striking appearance but also with their genuine connection. Despite their immense popularity, Anushka and Virat value their privacy and have chosen to lead a relatively low-key life. This preference for normalcy has led them to spend much of their time in London since the birth of their second child, Akaay Kohli.
Currently in Mumbai for a brand event, Anushka Sharma spoke about her family life and cooking habits. At an event, the actress revealed that she and her husband, Virat Kohli, are dedicated to preparing meals for their children, Vamika and Akaay, using recipes passed down from their mothers. She also talked about her commitment to maintaining a consistent routine for her family.
"We had this discussion at home that if we don’t make the food our moms made at home, then we won’t be passing these recipes on to our kids. So, sometimes I cook, and sometimes my husband cooks, and we really try to replicate the way our mothers did. I cheat a little by calling my mom to ask for recipes, but it’s so important. It’s like you’re passing on something valuable to your children."
She added, "I am very particular about routine. We travel a lot as a family, and my kids experience many changes in their lives. So, by creating a routine for them, I am giving them a sense of control. Meal times are fixed—no matter where we are, we eat at the same time and sleep at the same time. It helps them regulate themselves much better."

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot on December 11, 2017, in Italy. They became parents to their daughter Vamika on January 11, 2021, and welcomed their son Akaay in February 2024. Since the arrival of Akaay, Anushka has been primarily based in London with Virat.

Anushka Sharma's most recent film appearance was in the 2018 release Zero, which featured Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Her upcoming project is the sports biopic Chakda Xpress, based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The official release date for the film has yet to be announced.
