Canadian singer-rapper AP Dhillon is currently making headlines due to his feud with singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh, which kickstarted with the ‘With You’ hitmaker calling out the singer for blocking him on social media and being “fake”. Amid all the drama, Dhillon has hinted at taking a break from music. In a recent interview, the rapper said that the next year could be his “final year” as he seeks a “peaceful life” away from the industry, which he said had turned into “a game more than the artspace”.

AP Dhillon during Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast revealed that he might take a break from the music industry next year. He said, "Once all this is over, I want to live a peaceful life. I still like that. I don't know if I'll wake up tomorrow and say that I don't want to make songs from now on. I was telling my friend. Next year might be my last year. I might not make music for a while, just because it has become a game more than the artspace. If I just want to stimulate my brain, I need to do something else."

When asked what he would do during the break, AP jokingly said, "I have no idea. Will start a podcast."

During the same interview, Dhillon also shared that he has turned down several offers of giving music in the films. He added, "I was offered movies, even to be in them, and to do records two years ago. I have been rejecting them for two years and burning my bridges. From one to another, just because I don’t want to be like the other sheep."
