Apoorva Mukhija aka The Rebel Kid's recent video, sparked speculations about her friendship fallout with Rida Tharana. During her YouTube live, she shared her story and the threats she faced after the India’s Got Latent row. In the video, she took the names of her friends who supported her but Rida's name was missing. This led to latter receiving heavy trolling by netizens, questioning her friendship. Now, the Rebel Kid has finally reacted to this buzz and urged everyone to avoid jumping to conclusions and spreading negativity. She revealed that there is only love for Rida.
Apoorva Mukhija took to her Instagram story and posted, “After my video, there have been a lot of assumptions and a lot of hate going around and as much as I appreciate you guys having my back. This is the last thing that I wanted. I wanted to share my story and my feelings, nothing more. So let’s please not jump to conclusions or spread negativity."
Sharing a photo with Rida Tharana, she wrote, "Only love for Rida Tharanaa."
After receiving online hate, Rida also penned a long post on her Instagram story. She revealed how she has been busy taking care of her mother. She also addressed the fallout rumours with Apoorva. She said, "I don’t want to give endless justifications. It’s Apoorva’s time to shine and I won’t be a shadow to it. I see every little thing I’ve done taken out of context and blown out of proportion. Everything is up for misinterpretation. And I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: people hate women. Women surviving, living, laughing, existing & just being. If I ever wanted to fake anything, I had 100 easier ways to do it. If you think I did that for 2 years, trust me, 2 months wouldn’t have been hard."
She also added, "As much as I've tried to stay away from all the negativity, some things still find a way to reach me and I won't lie, a few of them have truly broken me. Being in a different country, all by myself, it hasn't been easy. The anxiety has been bad. But what's been holding me together is hearing how some of you still have my back. I wasn't expecting that. So to those who stayed, who believed, who chose empathy over judgment..."
Apoorva Mukhija And Rida Rida Tharana Controversy
Apoorva recently made her social media comeback amid her India’s Got Latent. She dropped a her YouTUbe video titled Till I Say It Is, where she shared what happened on Samay Raina's show, how the controversy impacted her and her family. One of the statements that caught attention was the Rebel Kid talking about visiting a tarot card reader, who shared a description of the person who did black magic on her. Apoorva said, "It literally matches the person who I thought is doing kala jaadu (black magic) on me." This black magic remark and Rida's name missing from her gratitude list sparked speculation that things are not okay between her and Rida. Latter's silence through Apoorva's controversy fueled these rumours.
