Rumours about IU and Lee Jong Suk’s relationship status have taken social media by storm, with fans speculating that the couple might have broken up. The buzz started on February 10, 2025, when discussions on the Chinese platform Weibo suggested that the two stars were no longer together.

Fans noticed that IU had recently been wearing her ring on her index finger, a gesture in South Korea often associated with being single. This small detail led to speculation that she and Lee Jong Suk had ended their relationship. Although there has been no official statement from either of them, the topic quickly gained traction on Weibo, where their names trended as people debated the rumours.

IU and Lee Jong Suk made their relationship public in December 2022 after Dispatch released photos of them together. Shortly after, the actor acknowledged IU as a "special person" during his Daesang acceptance speech for Big Mouth, confirming their romance. Since then, the couple has often been spotted wearing matching couple items, a common way for South Korean celebrities to subtly showcase their relationships.

Despite the recent speculation, no credible sources from South Korea have reported a breakup. Until IU or Lee Jong Suk address the matter, fans will have to wait for confirmation.
