Asim Riaz has reportedly made an exit from the reality TV show Battleground, which has sent shockwaves among the netizens. This came after Asim had a fiery confrontation with contestants Rubina Dilaik and Abhishek Malhan, which led to his removal from the show. The incident has garnered mixed reactions on social media, with a section of netizens supporting Riaz, while others condemning his actions.

According to a report in TOI, a source said, “What seemed like a normal tiff slowly became a massive fight. Asim allegedly also insulted Rubina Dilaik, who tried to mediate and calm things down. But the situation spiralled and all three eventually stormed off to their vanity vans, forcing the team to call off the shoot.”

Insiders revealed that the rift between Asim Riaz and Abhishek Malhan was so extreme that it led to the former’s removal from the reality show. So far, the makers are in talks with Asim’s team to resolve the issue, but there has been no official statement from either side.

 

This is not the first time Asim Riaz’s temper has cost him a television opportunity. Earlier, he was removed from Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14 after a verbal spat with host Rohit Shetty. The controversy started after Asim failed to perform a task, while his co-contestants were successful. Asim had earlier called the other participants 'losers’ to which Shetty said he was being ‘rude’. Rohit said, “Kal bhi tune bahot bakwaas ki (Yesterday also you said a lot of nonsense).”

The filmmaker added, “Sun meri baat sunle warna mei utha ke yahi patak dunga. Aise mere se badtameezi nahi karna (Listen to be otherwise I will thrash you here. Don’t behave badly here).”

Asim then walked towards Rohit, but was stopped by the team of Khatron Ke Khiladi. Since then, Asim has been sharing cryptic posts on social media.
