James Cameron's directorial 'Avatar: The Way Of Water' received huge praise and appreciation for the film, where the third installment of the film series is already in the row, where the film series is a part of the ambitious plan for four sequels which are set inside the enchanting world of Pandora.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, the tentative release date for 'Avatar 3' will be on December 20, 2024, whereas the fourth part will be released in December 2026 and the fifth part possibly will be out in December 2028. However, much of the third installment has already been shot alongside the shooting of the second film, and the makers are thinking of wrapping up the shoot in 2024.
The confirmed cast members of 'Avatar 3' is still under the sheets, however, the film will witness familiar and new faces in the franchise. A list of actors making a comeback can be Sam Worthington as Jake Sully, Colonel Stephen Lang as Miles Quaritch, Sigourney Weaver as Kiri, and Zoe Saldaña as Neytiri. On the other hand, David Thewlis and Michelle Yeoh are two newcomers.
Talking about the plot of the film, 'Avatar 3' will be introducing a new group of Na'vi on Pandora, who will be known as the 'Ash People.' They will be connected to the element of fire, where James Cameron teased that 'Avatar 3' will thus introduce both evil and positive characters in Na'vi with a brighter side of humanity.
The film will also continue to explore the original leads while moving to the new worlds set within Pandora. The makers are also set to introduce a new villain in the world of Pandora. This villain will be a personal threat to the people in Pandora and will be different from the faceless military machines which were showcased in the previous films.
In 2018, BBC News reported that 'Avatar' will be a four-part sequel film, where the third part will be titled 'Avatar: The Seed Bearer', followed by 'Avatar: The Tulkul Rider', and 'Avatar: The Quest For Eywa.' However, 'Way of Water' has proven to be accurate, however, the upcoming titles will tell the truth in time.
