The joke, which was deemed obscene by many, has led to multiple complaints being filed against Ranveer, who is a well-respected figure in the Indian YouTube community with over 12 million subscribers across seven different channels.

The controversy began when Ranveer made a remark about "sex with parents" during the show, which was met with severe backlash on social media. Many users took to various platforms to express their outrage and disappointment over the joke, which was deemed insensitive and inappropriate. The backlash was so severe that it led to an FIR being filed against Ranveer and Samay Raina, the host of the show.

Instead of criticising Ranveer and Samay, Ayesha has called out the authorities, urging them to focus on greater problems rather than getting bogged down by issues like this.

Ayesha Khan took to her Instagram Story and wrote, “Problems we are facing - terrible roads, massive traffic jams, air pollution, general safety, dark comedy on a dark comedy platform."She further added, "Solution - Action to be taken on the most serious topic, varna kahin development na ruk jaye. Only if there was a similar outrage for problems bigger than this in the country.”
