Actor Babil Khan created waves with a video in which he broke down in tears while slamming several celebrities and sharing his experiences in Bollywood, which he later deleted. He also deleted his Instagram account on Sunday after the video went viral online. Now, Babil has returned to Instagram. He clarified all the rumours that had sparked debate, calling the video "extremely misinterpreted." He also shared a photo with his co-stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Raghav Juyal.
Babil Khan Back On Instagram After Viral Video
Babil re-shared actor Kubbra Sait's post on his Instagram story and wrote, “Thank you so much. This video was extremely misinterpreted, I was trying to show support to (tagged Instagram accounts of actors) Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Gaurav Adarsh, Arjun Kapoor, Raghav Juyal and Arijit Singh.”
He added, "I genuinely don't have the energy to indulge more but I do this as responsibility for my peers that I truly admire.”
After this, he shared Raghav Juyal's Instagram post, who called Babil his family and stated he is always there with him no matter what. The Qala actor wrote, “Raghav Juyal, bhai you are my icon, my idol and my elder brother that I never had.”
Babil also reacted to Siddhant Chaturvedi's post by replying, "I love you brother."
The Logout star posted a black and white photo featuring himself with Siddhant and Raghav. The trio can be seen smiling and posing for the camera. He tagged the actors along with heart emojis.
Babil Khan's Slamming Bollywood Viral Video
In the video, he was heard saying, "What I mean to say is that I just want you guys to know that there are people like Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav and Arijit Singh. There are so many more names. Bollywood is so f*****. Bollywood is so screwed."
After a viral controversial video, Babil'team and family issued a statement and assured the actor is safe amid his health concerns by fans.
They also clarified his statement on Bollywood, stating, "Babil's family released an official statement, a part of which read, “In the clip, Babil was sincerely acknowledging a few of his peers whom he believes are making meaningful contributions to the evolving landscape of Indian cinema. His mention of artists like Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav, Arjun Kapoor, and Arijit Singh came from a place of genuine admiration — for their authenticity, passion, and efforts to restore credibility and heart in the industry.”
