Baby John EARLY Review: Varun Dhawan is eagerly awaiting the release of his action thriller, Baby John. The anticipation around the movie grew as the makers released a spine-chilling trailer. Keerthy Suresh, Jackie Shroff and Wamiqa Gabbi play important roles in the movie, which opens in theatres this Christmas.

Surrounded by a lot of excitement and strong hopes, Salman Khan will make a special guest appearance in Baby John. Interestingly, the first review of the movie has already been released, and it primarily compliments this actioner, as was to be expected. Varun Dhawan plays the role of DCP John/Satya Verma IPS while Keerthy Suresh makes her Bollywood debut as his wife Meera.

According to the early review, Varun Dhawan starrer Baby John has been hailed as 'best mass action movie.' Salman Khan's much-anticipated cameo received a special mention. "Just finished watching #BabyJohn (Censor Copy). In one word, it's the best ever mass action movie from #VarunDhavan. And #SalmanKhan𓃵 cameo is something really special here. #KeerthySuresh shines A class... (sic)," read the early review.

Baby John Run Time And Plot Details

The filmmakers have finished censorship formalities before the movie's release. According to Sacnilk, Baby John has a theatre runtime of 2 hours and 44 minutes (164 minutes) and has been certified with 'U/A' for 16+ by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

Baby John is certified for audiences over the age of 16 because of some violent sequences. After Badlapur, which received a CBFC A rating, this is Varun Dhawan's second age-restricted movie. After Kalank, which lasted 165 minutes, Baby John is the actor's second-longest film in terms of duration.

As a police officer and single father, Varun portrays someone who isn't scared to take on enemies head-on. Atlee produces Baby John under the A for Apple Productions banner in collaboration with Jio Studios and Cine1 Studios. Superstar Salman Khan makes a cameo appearance, Jackie Shroff plays the antagonist, and Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi play the female leads.

Varun Dhawan stated in an interview with India Today that Baby John is more appropriately referred to as an 'adaptation' than a scene-by-scene re-enactment of the movie, Theri. "When Atlee came with this film, there was a reason behind it, and he said that we had to change a lot of the geography of the film. We have to use it as an adaptation and not really a proper remake, and I think that's what's done, " he said.
