The comedy film directed by Anand Tiwari, is inspired by true events. Positioned as a spiritual sequel to Good Newwz (2019) starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh, the film explores heteropaternal superfecundation, a reproductive phenomenon where twin children are born to the same mother but from different biological fathers.
The film's trailer and songs, particularly Tauba Tauba, have generated significant buzz on social media. Excited fans are eagerly anticipating the trio's on-screen chemistry and are thrilled as the ticket booking for 'Bad Newz' is now open, promising an entertaining cinematic experience. To announce the same, Vicky Kaushal dropped a video on Instagram and captioned, "Best news! Best news! #BadNewz… ki ADVANCE BOOKING OPEN ho chuki hai!!! #BadNewz in cinemas this Friday!"
