It performed exceptionally well at the box office, opening with approximately Rs 8 crore on Friday. Over the weekend, it saw a substantial increase in earnings, reaching close to Rs 30 crore by Sunday, aligning with industry forecasts. Despite a significant drop in collections on Monday to Rs 3.5 crore, which is still deemed commendable for a weekday, 'Bad Newz' has maintained steady performance at this level even on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Bad Newz has shown strong performance in its first five days at the box office, accumulating an estimated Rs 36.95 crore net in India. On its sixth day, the film is estimated to have earned around Rs 3.25 crore net, bringing its total collection to approximately Rs 40.20 crore, as reported by Sacnilk. On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, 'Bad Newz' recorded an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 12.36%. Directed by Anand Tiwari, the film is produced by Dharma Productions and Leo Media Collective.

The morning shows attracted an audience with an occupancy rate of 8.47%, while the afternoon shows saw a higher turnout at 14.05%.
