Baiju Bawra Update: Nayanthara To Join Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Upcoming Venture With Ranveer-Alia On Board? All We Know

‘Baiju Bawra’ is one of the most awaited films of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film is making rounds on the internet with Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh leading the film. However, a new report claims that actress Nayanthara is also touted to be a part of the film. If the rumour mills are true then the film is scheduled to go on floors next year. ‘Baiju Bawra’ marks the fourth collaboration of Ranveer Singh with the filmmaker after ‘Ram Leela’, ‘Bajirao Mastani’, and ‘Padmavat.’ On the other hand, the film marks the second collaboration between the filmmaker and Alia Bhatt, after ‘Gangubai Kathiawad.’

Now, several reports claim that the South female superstar, Nayanthara, marked her debut with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ is also in the news to be casted in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited film. The actress is being considered alongside Ranveer Singh, to play an important role in the film. However, she is not replacing Alia Bhatt, but will star alongside the two leads of the film.

In March 2023, Nayanthara with her husband-director Vignesh Shivan, met Sanjay Leela Bhansali to explore the possibilities of the collaboration which raised speculations of the actress joining the team.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is also gearing up for the release of his Netflix series ‘Heeramandi’ marking his OTT debut starring Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Richa Chadha in the lead roles. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt will next be seen in Vasan Bala’s ‘Jigra.’
