Upcoming Malayalam OTT Releases in October 2023: The Malayalam film industry has managed to deliver several successful films over the years and has carved out a successful niche in the industry. With the rise of OTT platforms, the reach of South Indian films have only increased amongst the audience because of the twisted plots with fantastic acting skills.

Churning out some mind-boggling scripts, several to-be-announced and already released movies will soon be released in October 2023 on various OTT platforms such as SonyLIV, Jio Cinema, Amazon Prime Video, and more. Fans of the Malayalam cinema are eagerly looking forward to these releases. Let’s take a glimpse at some of the upcoming film selections.

Kannur Squad: SonyLIV

Starring Mammootty, Kishore Kumar G, and Vijayaraghavan, the film hit theatres on September 28 and is helmed by Roby Varghese Raj. The film revolves around a cop named George Martin and his team, who embarks on a journey across the country to catch a heinous criminal gang. The film was a box office success and received positive reviews from the audience and critics.

Dhoomam: Amazon Prime Video

The film was a blockbuster and received positive reviews from fans and critics. Fahadh Faasil essays the role of Avinash, who found himself engaged in a significant life choice. Staying true to his principles, some decisions could bring life-changing repercussions in his life. The film also starred Aparna Balamurali and Roshan Mathew in the lead roles.

Kaathal-The Core: Jio Cinema

Mammootty and Jyothika’s much-awaited film ‘Kaathal: The Core’ is yet to be released in front of the audience but promises an interesting narrative with twisting plot and character details. The supremely talented duo will essay the role of a married couple in the film.

Starring Indrans, Dhyan Sreenivasan, and Durga Krishna in the lead role, the film revolves around Shiny, a housewife and mother, who is fed up with her in-laws. The film however takes a daunting turn with a series of unfortunate events. The release date and streaming platform are yet to be announced.

Sesham Mike-il Fathima

The women-centric drama has Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead role with Shaheen Siddique as her aid throughout the film. The film revolves around a young woman who is a football announcer, however it is not entirely a sports story. The streaming platform and release date are yet to be announced.

Madhura Manohara Moham

This family drama revolves around Manu and Meera’s families who form a relationship on the foundation of lies. Thus, once one pillar breaks down, the foundation begins to crumble followed by a series of comic turns and twists. The film stars Sharafudheen, Rajisha Vijayan, and Aarsha Chandini Baiju in the lead roles. The streaming platform and release date are yet to be announced.

Madanolsavam

Starring Suraj Venjaramoodu, Babu Antony, and Rajesh Madhavan in pivotal roles, the film revolves around a man who shapes his own destiny in spite of several ups and downs. This inspiring story showcases the leading spirit of the individual who is focused to achieve the best in his life. The streaming platform and release date are yet to be announced.
