Sanjay Dutt and Suniel Shetty came together for the survival show ‘Star Vs Food’ hosted by Chef Ranveer Brar. The presence of one of the biggest stars of Bollywood also invited controversy and drama. The duo accepted the fact and talked about how the industry is losing its unity over the time which was completely different from the 1980s era. Sanjay Dutt revealed that the bonding amongst the other actors and actresses were super low, with the two also working together in several films.
The ‘Kalank’ actor recalled his jail term as he served time due to his involvement in the 1993 Bombay Blast case, where an AK-57 rifle was found at his residence. The actor remembered the duration as several Bollywood biggies including Suniel Shetty, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and Shah Rukh Khan came to the Yerwada Central Jail, Pune and wished him well.

According to a report in India Today, Sanjay Dutt said, “Today, the industry has no voice. No one stands up to the nonsense or when there are fingers pointed at us. The bond, that oneness is missing, that voice hasn’t remained. Everything’s become weak as there is no one to defend one another. But I must add that it’s coming back now. After what we went through, with all the hashtags and boycott calls, I think now it’s time that everyone stands up for one another."
He continued, “The first time I went to jail, if you see the photographs outside Thane jail – Anna (Suniel Shetty), Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Shah Rukh Khan, everybody came and wished me well. I had no respite from serving jail time, so why overthink it? I had to make up my mind that yes I had to go. I have to face it.”
Meanwhile, Suniel Shetty also commented on his relationship with Sanjay Dutt and said, “We form a deadly combination and it was so much fun to shoot with him. He brought along his sense of humour and that lazy swag. Both of us are also Leos and love nature. I think it was a magical time.”

The duo graced on the first episode of the show with Chef Ranveer Brar, exploring the beautiful terrains of rural Coorg, which is also Suniel Shetty’s native land. The episode will air on October 9.
