Bhagyashree, who rose to fame after the 1989 movie Maine Pyar Kiya alongside Salman Khan, extended wishes to the superstar on his 59th birthday. In a heartwarming post, she called Salman not only her "dost" but also her "first hero." In a series of photos and videos on her social media platforms, the actress showcased her long-standing bond with the actor since they shared screen space for the first time in the Sooraj Barjatya directorial.
Bhagyashree took to Instagram handle and shared some memorable moments featuring herself and Salman. The first image captures Bhagyashree and Salman posing together for the camera. The second photo shows a still from their film Maine Pyar Kiya. She also posted a video from the sets of reality show Bigg Boss 15, where the actress can be seen complimenting Salman for his looks and fitness.
Along with the post, she penned a sweet message, which read, "Birthday Boy !! To my dost, my first hero, and the man that got the girls go hmmmm. Wish you a very happy birthday @beingsalmankhan." After her post, fans got nostalgic and remembered watching the duo in the hit film. One of the users wrote, "36 years of Maine payar kiya. My favorite Prem and Suman." Another Instagram user commented, "The evergreen jodi." Many fans wished Salman on his special day in the comments section.

The romantic drama Maine Pyar Kiya is one of the classic films of Indian cinema. The movie revolves around the story of Prem and Suman, played by Salman and Bhagyashree, who started their journey as friends and eventually fell in love. Their love story faced numerous twists and turns but they overcame those obstacles to be together.
Besides Salman and Bhagyashree, Maine Pyar Kiya also starred Alok Nath, Rajeev Verma, Reema Lagoo, Ajit Vachani, and Mohnish Bahl. Earlier in August this year, Sooraj Barjatya's directorial was re-released in cinemas to celebrate the film's 35th anniversary.
