T-Series head Bhushan Kumar has finally addressed the persistent rumours about his alleged divorce from his wife Divya Khossla. These rumours started earlier this year when Divya dropped Bhushan’s surname, leading to widespread speculation about the state of their marriage.

In a recent interview, Bhushan Kumar set the record straight. He explained that Divya's decision to drop his surname was solely based on astrological reasons and had nothing to do with marital discord. “Not here because we are talking about the film (Srikanth),” Bhushan initially remarked, indicating that he wanted to focus on promoting his film. However, he went on to clarify, “But nothing of that thing has happened. We have always cleared it also. She had also cleared it. It is just that astrological reason, she wanted (to change). I don’t follow but she follows,” he told Zoom TV.

The producer emphasized that both he and Divya had addressed these rumours multiple times, and there was no truth to them. The couple remains strong, and Divya's name change was a personal decision influenced by her belief in astrology.

Back in February, a spokesperson from Divya's team also clarified the situation to News18 Showsha. “Divya Khossla’s choice to drop her married surname, driven by astrological beliefs, is a personal decision and should be respected. Her addition of an ‘s’ to her maiden surname, symbolising her astrological belief, is for the same thought.” This statement reiterated that Divya's actions were not indicative of any issues in their marriage.

Bhushan Kumar and Divya Khossla tied the knot in 2005 after meeting on the sets of the film 'Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo'. Bhushan fell in love with Divya and was determined to marry her. Divya revealed that it was her mother who ultimately convinced her to say yes to Bhushan. Since then, the couple has built a life together, with Bhushan achieving acclaim as a producer and Divya establishing herself as a director and actress. Divya's recent works include directing several films and acting in "Yaariyan 2." She is set to appear in the upcoming film 'Savi: A Bloody Housewife'.
