In a recent interview with ETimes, Pavitra Punia confirmed the breakup, stating, “There is a shelf-life for everything, nothing is permanent. In relationships, too, there can be a shelf-life. Eijaz and I parted ways a few months ago and I will always wish him well. I respect him a lot, but the relationship did not last.” Eijaz Khan, when approached by the entertainment portal, expressed his well wishes for Pavitra, saying, “I hope Pavitra finds the love and success she deserves. She will always be a part of my duas.”

Despite their breakup, the two had continued to share an apartment until recently. However, last month, Eijaz moved out, while Pavitra still resides in the same apartment. Their journey together started on the sets of Bigg Boss 14, where they fell in love with each other amidst the chaos of the reality show.

Speculations about their future plans were rife, especially after Eijaz had hinted at marriage during an interview with News18 last year. He had expressed his desire for a celebration with family and friends, although logistics seemed challenging. Pavitra, on the other hand, had emphasized her focus on her career, especially after the loss of her father.
